I bought my first show GSD in 1969 and promptly joined the local GSDC of Eastern Virginia and later the German Shepherd Dog Club of America.  I currently serve as Vice President of my local club and as Membership Chair for the GSDCA. 

Together, with my friend Lanalee Jorgensen, I have bred or owned a Best in Show, Group Winners, Best in Futurity/Maturity and American and Canadian Champions.  I am a signer of the GSDCA Breeders Code of Ethics.

I have a small kennel, keep only four or five dogs and occasionally breed a litter.  When I breed, I focus on type, structure and soundness.  I believe in the “Total Dog” and my goal is to put titles at both ends of my dogs’ names – conformation and performance.  While I mostly compete in the show ring, my dogs have AKC herding titles (PT and HSAS), are Temperament Certified (TC), Canine Good Citizens (CGC), and work as Therapy Dogs (TDI).  I am very proud of their accomplishments but mostly they are my home companions – please visit with them in the next few pages.
